Meet Rango, a resilient and affectionate dog who has overcome a lot of hardship. Once living in a cruel environment where food was scarce and survival was a daily battle, Rango has transformed into a total lovebug. He’s the ultimate lap dog and adores meeting new people. While he once shared a yard with other dogs, Rango is happiest as the only pet in the home, soaking up all the love and attention. He loves cooling off in a baby pool and would do great in a home with yard access and older kids. Rango is ready to start a new chapter, filled with love and comfort.

Rango's early life was filled with suffering. He lived on a property with other dogs in harsh conditions—starving, covered in ticks, and constantly fighting for survival. After many calls for help, Rango was finally rescued. When he was first brought into care, Rango was in terrible shape, with open wounds and leathery skin. Over time, he healed both physically and emotionally. Now, he’s a confident, affectionate dog who just wants to be loved. Though his past was rough, his future is bright, and he’s ready for a forever home that can provide the love and care he deserves.
