Meet Dezi, an energetic and curious one-year-old pup who is finally enjoying the good life after a tough start. After spending weeks wandering a mountain trail, Dezi has found comfort in his foster home, where he loves to snuggle, romp, and go for walks. He’s smart, mischievous, and full of energy—always ready to play or cuddle with his foster family. Dezi is looking for a forever home where he can continue to thrive with love, structure, and plenty of couch snuggles (he snores loudly, too!).

Dezi’s early life was difficult. He was spotted on a mountain trail for over a month, evading capture despite the best efforts of hikers and homeowners. When he was finally humanely trapped, he was thin, with scars on his head and ear, likely from an encounter with another dog or coyote. Since being rescued, Dezi has blossomed in his foster home. Though it took time for him to decompress, he now enjoys a routine full of love, cuddles, and playtime, leaving his rough past behind.

Dezi is ready to find his forever family! He’s a sweet and smart pup who loves to play, cuddle, and go on walks. Though he needs some training and patience with new people, Dezi’s playful personality and boundless energy will bring joy to any home.
