In the heat of the moment, the owner declared she no longer wanted any of the dogs and told the rescuer to “take them.” That’s how Lucy found her way into loving hands. Since then, she has blossomed in foster care—once timid and unsure, she’s now learning to trust, love, and enjoy life.
